BALCONES HEIGHTS, Texas – Balcones Heights police are looking for a man responsible for robbing a general store overnight.
The incident occurred in the 2800 block of Hillcrest Drive, found near Babcock Road on the city's Northwest Side.
Police said a man walked into a Dollar General and demanded cash, claiming to possess a gun.
After the clerk gave the man money, the suspect fled the scene on foot towards apartments nearby, police said.
Authorities now are looking for a man described as wearing blue jeans, a hat and a bandana that covered his face.
The amount of money taken is not presently known.
The investigation is ongoing.
