Reward offered in man's shooting death

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police and Crime Stoppers are offering a reward for information that leads to the arrest of whoever shot a man to death in October 2012.

Police investigators said Daniel Gonzales, 29, was shot and killed at the Westwood Plaza Apartments in the 2500 block of Westward Drive on Oct. 14, 2012.

He was standing in front of an apartment building at the complex with two other men when they were confronted by the driver of an SUV who had driven up.

Police say either the SUV's driver or a possible passenger subsequently shot at the men.

Gonzales was shot in the head and later died at an area hospital.
