SAN ANTONIO – A man was taken to the hospital, and police are looking for another man after road rage between the two resulted in a shooting and two crashes, police said.
San Antonio police said the two men pulled over near the corner of South Presa and Mebane streets and were arguing about 3 a.m. Saturday. They said the men both pulled out guns and fired shots at each other. Neither was struck.
Police said one man got back into his vehicle and drove away. The other man followed him and rammed into the back of his vehicle.
The vehicle that was hit from behind rolled over and landed in the corner of Hackberry Street and Chicago Boulevard. The driver was trapped inside and had to be helped out by the San Antonio Fire Department. He was taken to University Hospital in critical condition.
The other man also crashed his car into a fence after hitting the other vehicle. He and his passenger ran from the scene. Police have not been able to locate them.
