Rock legends the Eagles headed to SA

Band to perform at AT&T Center on Wednesday, Oct. 15; Tickets on sale Aug. 9

SAN ANTONIO – Rock legends the Eagles are stopping by the Alamo City as one of only 11 dates on their upcoming "The History of the Eagles" tour.

The multi-platinum mega-stars will be appearing at the AT&T Center on Wednesday, Oct. 15.

According to a statement issued by the band, the current incarnation of the Eagles -- Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit -- will perform classics spanning their career, including some that have never been performed live, as well as songs featured in "History of the Eagles," the band's acclaimed documentary.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Aug. 9 at www.livenation.com, www.ticketmaster.com, www.ATTCenter.com, via Charge-By-Phone (800) 745-3000, the venue box office and at Ticketmaster retail outlets.

Advanced tickets will go on sale to American Express® Card Members beginning Monday, August 4 at 10 AM through Friday, August 8 at 10 PM.
