SA man added to Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offenders list

Authorities search for Jose Julio Arce Jr., 56

AUSTIN – A San Antonio man has been added to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offenders list after his failure to register as a sex offender.

The DPS said Jose Julio Arce Jr., 56, whose last known address was in San Antonio, was convicted in 1999 of aggravated sexual assault of a 9-year-old girl in Bexar County. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Arce, who was previously associated with the Texas Mexican Mafia, may also be known as Laredo, according to the DPS.

Arce is described as 5 feet 11 inches tall and 250 pounds. He has a mole on the right side of his forehead and multiple tattoos on his shoulder, arms, right hand and wrist.

Arce's work history is in automotive services, landscaping and irrigation services.
