SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio home prices showed a slight decrease in July after six consecutive months of increasing prices, the San Antonio Board of Realtors announced Thursday.
SABOR said the average home price for July was $229,253, a 6 percent increase from July 2013.

The average amount of time for a home to stay on the market was 64 days, eight fewer than July 2013 and the lowest it has been all year.
According to the National Association of Realtors, the median home price nationwide for the second quarter of 2014 was $212,400, up 4.4 percent from the same period in 2013.
