Rudy Ortiz was located safe by the Summervell County Sheriff's Department in North Texas, police said. He is being evaluated at a hospital as a precaution.

The San Antonio police department issued a Silver Alert on Wednesday morning for a missing 73-year-old man.
Rudy Ortiz was last seen Tuesday around 2 p.m. in San Antonio driving a brown Chevrolet Caprice Classic with the license plate DK4S843.
Ortiz has been diagnosed with a cognitive impairment and is 5 foot 9 weighing 180 pounds with gray and black hair and green eyes. He was wearing a ball cap, a gray t-shirt, black pants and white tennis shoes.
Police said they believe Ortiz's disappearance poses a threat to his own health and safety.
The affected Texas counties and regions include the following: NWS Austin/San Antonio, NWS Corpus Christi, NWS Houston, NWS San Angelo, NWS Brownsville, and NWS Fort Worth.
