SAPD responds to 2 separate shootings

San Antonio police responded to two separate shootings Friday night. The first shooting happened around 9:30 at the Houston Street Townhomes in the 4600 block of East Houston Street.

When investigators arrived to the complex they could not find a victim. However, an hour later, a man arrived at East Baptist Hospital with a gunshot wound.

The man was taken to the San Antonio Military Medical Center in serious condition. There is no word on if the man that walked into the hospital is the same man that was shot at the complex.

The second shooting happened just before 10 p.m. on Yucca Street near Martin Luther King Drive.

Police said two teens were walking down the road when a car pulled up beside them and someone inside the car opened fire, hitting one of the boys at least once in the stomach.

The victim was taken to University Hospital in stable condition. It is unclear why the teen was a target.

Police are searching for the gunman.
