SAN ANTONIO – A second capital murder arrest has been made in connection with a man found dead in his own car trunk in Universal City last week.
Meagan Cantu was arrested about 7 p.m. Friday in San Antonio.
Universal City police said she knew Martin Gonzalez, who was robbed and shot in the head on Feb. 7. Police believe she connected three other men to Gonzalez and actively helped plan the robbery.
Ashton Lomas, 23, is already in jail on a capital murder charge. Police said Lomas confessed to shooting Gonzalez after one of the other men told him to.
Lomas said a third man cleaned up the crime scene and hid the body.
Police are searching for the other two men involved.
