SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are searching for three men who they said pulled off a smash-and-grab robbery Friday morning at a South Park Mall jewelry store.

An employee told officers that the men walked into the Exotic Jewelry Store about 11:15 a.m. with guns drawn.

The employee said they instructed him and a co-worker to lie on the floor. One of the robbers stood watching over them and another jumped over the counter and shattered a glass jewelry display case.

The men snatched several pieces of jewelry and ran out of the store. Witnesses told officers that the men drove away in a truck.

"The individuals fled south out of the mall and, we believe, south on the access road of I-35," Officer Douglas Greene said.
