The Geekbus visit is one of many special features provided at Palo Alton’s summer science, technology, engineering and mathematics camps.

During the STEM camp, students ages 11 to 18 perform hands-on activities in biology, chemistry, engineering and computer gaming.

“We stress 3-D printing because it’s such an important technology moving forward. A lot of advancements are happening with a different bunch of different interests, you know, of civil engineering,” said Justin Chapkl, STEM coordinator.

There are other summer camps available at the college throughout the summer.
