The district said Pinnix was found with a small amount of the drug in his bag during a random K-9 search.

A spokesperson with the district said Pinnix no longer works for the district.

This is the second SAISD employee to be arrested for drug possession on campus in the last month. On Sept. 13, a teacher at Lanier High School was arrested for the same thing.

Pinnix is charged with a Class A misdemeanor because he was caught with the marijuana in a drug-free zone.
