Suspected drunken driver in double fatal crash ID'd, victims from Mexico

Justin Fey facing multiple charges

SAN ANTONIO – A collision with a suspected intoxicated driver left two parents dead and three of their children injured.

The crash happened on Loop 1604 in East Bexar County around noon Saturday.

Deputies said the drunken driving suspect, Justin Fey, 49, crashed head-on with another vehicle just north of FM 1346. They said one person died at the scene and the other died during transport by an AirLife helicopter.

AirLife flew one of the children and an ambulance took two others to University Hospital. All are expected survive.

The medical examiner hasn't yet released the names of the dead man and woman. The office said they were trying to locate the victim’s family in Mexico.

The Sheriff's Office said Fey faces two intoxication manslaughter charges, two counts of intoxication assault and one count of assault with a deadly weapon.
