NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas – A man police believe robbed the First Commercial Bank in the 1500 block of South Seguin Avenue in New Braunfels and the Schertz Bank and Trust on Jan. 20 was apprehended Wednesday.

Police said evidence from multiple agencies led them to arrest Reness Leonce Broussard, 35, in connection with the robberies.

Broussard was charged with robbery in both incidents and booked into the Travis County Jail. His bond is set $400,000.
