The email asked students to walk in pairs and lock their doors.

The school said the attack happened between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. Feb. 9 at the Chaparral Village Campus Residence, but the student didn’t report it until Thursday.

Students said they take the attack seriously.

The man is described as being chubby, in his late 30s to early 40s, about 5 feet 9 inches tall with medium-length hair and large ears, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call UTSA Police at 210-458-4911.
