Man, 30, critically injured in South Side hit-and-run

Victim hit crossing Pleasanton Road, Brighton Avenue

SAN ANTONIO – A 30-year-old man was critically injured in a hit-and-run late Saturday night on the city's South Side.

Police said the man was crossing the street at the intersection of Pleasanton Road and Brighton Avenue around 10 p.m., when a older model Chevrolet pickup truck hit him.

The victim was transported to San Antonio Military Medical Center in critical condition.
