Vigil held for man found by ‘Pokemon Go' players

Chris Lowe found dead Thursday, 3 people arrested

NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas – A South Texas family is devastated after losing their loved one in a horrific way.

Chris Lowe was found dead in a Comal County cemetery last week but people playing "Pokemon Go." He had been stabbed several times, police said.

Friends and family remembered Lowe Monday night by playing heavy metal music.

"He adored music," said Jessica Ryan, Lowe's sister. "He was so smart knowing all the metal information, the groups and band members and stuff. Just anybody that met him liked him."

Ryan said she and the entire family have been devastated by her older brother's murder.

"Having someone taken from you like that is the worst thing," said Ryan. "It's the worst feeling in the world."
The family met at Prince Solms Park, where Lowe loved to play disc golf.

They also released balloons in his favorite color: black.

"We are sending our memories up with him," Ryan said. "Just to remember how much of a good person he was." 

She said now she is just hoping for justice.

"We're hoping for the death penalty," she said.

Luis Deleon and Sunee Schreiwer were arrested over the weekend and are in custody in the Comal County Jail.

Each suspect being is held on a $250,000 bond. New Braunfels police also arrested a juvenile in connection with the crime.
