CLARKSVILLE, Md. – A 14-year-old from Maryland set a world record Saturday when he solved a Rubik's cube in less than five seconds.
Lucas Etter was competing in the River Hill Fall Competition in Clarksville, Maryand when he completed the task in just 4.9 seconds, breaking a record that had been set that very same day.
Lucas already previously held a world record in a different Rubik's cube category.
The World Cube Association confirmed the time and is now in the process of verifying the record.
