SAN ANTONIO – A woman is accused of hitting a 12-year-old over the head with a wine bottle, authorities said.
Michelle Vargas was arrested and charged with injury to a child by intent.

Arrest records state Vargas was helping a friend pick up a few items at the victim’s home. When the victim tried to help, Vargas snatched the items out of his hands and hit him over the head with a wine bottle.
Vargas left the scene but was later arrested. She’s being held at the Bexar County Jail on a $15,000 bond.
The victim is expected to be OK.
