SAN ANTONIO – Police are investigating a stabbing death that happened at an East Side apartment complex late Friday night.
The stabbing happened in the 3700 block of East Commerce.
Police said a man told them he returned home about 10 p.m. and found his girlfriend dead from stab wounds. The man told investigators he left around 6:30 p.m. Friday to help some friends.
Neighbors told police they heard arguing and screaming at the apartment but did not report it.
The man told officers the apartment door was slightly open when he got home, and he found the victim's body in the living room.
The medical examiner's office said her ID is not yet being released.
