Woman shot after argument at East Side home

Victim wounded in the shoulder, police say

SAN ANTONIO – An argument involving a couple ended with a shooting Wednesday night at a home on the city's East Side.

San Antonio police said neither of the people involved in that original argument, though, did the shooting.

Police found the victim around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday at a home in the 4300 block of Jarbet Drive.

They said witnesses told them she had been arguing with another woman, her wife, when a third woman pulled out a gun and fired it.

The shooter was gone by the time officers arrived.

The wounded woman was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center for treatment.
