Spurs' Vine post hints at jersey change

SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Spurs hinted at a possible jersey change Tuesday morning in a post to its Vine account.

The video shows close up shots of a jersey, but does not show the full uniform.

A major color scheme change does not appear to be in the works, as the Spurs seem to be sticking with the classic silver and black.

The caption reads, "Something new is coming."

No other information was given, leaving Spurs fans to wait. Stay tuned.

Spurs top ESPN The Magazine's Annual Ulitmate Standings

Also on Tuesday, ESPN The Magazine named the Spurs as the No. 1 team on its in Annual Ulitmate Standings list, which ranks the 122 teams of the NBA, NFL, NHL and MLB.

The Spurs grabbed the magazine's top spot on the list for the second straight year and the fourth time overall (2004 and 2006). San Antonio is the only team to be ranked in the list's top 10 each year since its creation in 2003.

The Annual Ultimate Standings list evaluates teams on four categories: ownership, coaching, players and fan relations.

It also rates teams on a weighted average of scores in eight areas: fan relations (25 %), title track (4.6%), players (14.6%), affordability (11.3%), ownership (13.1%), stadium experience (9.8%), "bang for the buck" (18.3%) and coaching (3.2%).

To determine the rankings, ESPN polled 100,000 fans to find out what they want most in return for the emotion, money and time invested in their teams.

Coming in second on this year's list is fellow NBA franchise the Memphis Grizzlies. Third place was awarded to the Tampa Bay Lightning, of the NHL. Click here to see the full list.
