SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police arrested a driver late Monday night, after he failed a sobriety test following a crash with a traffic light on the city's Northwest Side.
The accident occurred around 11:50 p.m. on the Interstate 10 access road near Huebner Road.
Police said the driver was going west on the access road when he tried to make a turn and hit the pole.
A passenger inside the vehicle was taken to University Hospital with chest pain.
The driver was tested and arrested on a suspected drunk driving charge, police said.
The investigation is ongoing.
