SAN ANTONIO – A vehicle collision involving a bus sent the driver of a sport utility vehicle to the hospital overnight, San Antonio police said Monday.
The accident occurred around 12:20 a.m. in the 11000 block of Interstate 35.
According to police the driver of the sport utility vehicle was going southbound when it tried to change lanes to avoid water in the road. That's when, police said, the SUV side-swiped the bus, causing the SUV to rollover.
The driver of the SUV was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center in critical condition. No one else was hurt in the accident.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
