Motorcyclist injured by hit-and-run driver

Victim was taken to University Hospital in serious condition

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are looking for a driver that hit a motorcyclist and then left the scene early Thursday morning.

The crash happened just before 1 a.m. on Loop 410 near Bandera Road on the city's Northwest Side.

Police said the driver might have been distracted by a passing ambulance with its lights on when the motorcyclist was hit.

The victim was taken to University Hospital in serious condition.

The investigation is ongoing.
