Pedestrian hit by vehicle trying to cross access road, police say

Accident happened around 7 a.m. near I-10, Old Camp Bullis Rd

SAN ANTONIO – A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle while trying to cross an access road on the city's far Northwest Side, San Antonio police said Thursday.

The accident happened around 7 a.m. near at Old Camp Bullis Road in front of Wangchao.

Police said a man about 60-years-old was attempting to cross the street. A woman in a car at the stop sign was making a right-hand turn and scraped him, according to an officer.

The man suffered minor injuries but did go to the hospital by ambulance.

The driver was not cited.
