SAPD: Driver causes three vehicle crash

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police were left to clean up a three vehicle crash Tuesday night after a car ran a red light, causing several accidents.

The crash happened around 11 p.m. at the intersection of MLK Drive and South Walters Street.

According to police, the driver of the red car ran a red light on South Walters and slammed into a white car passing through the intersection.

The impact of the accident caused the white car to spin out of control and crash into a third vehicle.

Police said the driver of the red car managed to run away. There is no word on if they have been caught.

One person involved in the crash was taken by EMS to Trace Baptist Hospital with stomach pains after the airbag deployed.
