Almost immediately after initiating the traffic stop the deputy notified dispatch that the SUV had crashed after striking another vehicle and colliding with a concrete pillar, deputies said.

The BCSO said there were three people along with the driver inside the SUV.

The adult female driver of the SUV was momentarily trapped inside. She was taken to Westover Hills Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The condition of the other driver involved in the crash is not presently known.
