Texas State University suspends afternoon classes due to flooding

Plans for evening classes will be announced by 3 p.m. Monday

SAN MARCOS, Texas – Classes at Texas State University are suspended Monday from 1-5 p.m. at the San Marcos campus due to flooding, university officials said.

Offices and other university operations remain open.

Quad shuttle buses are being diverted to the Wood Street Stop near the University Academic Center.

The Round Rock Campus will hold classes as scheduled.

Texas State will continue to monitor the situation and announce plans for evening classes by 3 p.m.
