SAN ANTONIO – You can celebrate Halloween with haunted houses, corn mazes and family-friendly activities in the San Antonio area.

SeaWorld San Antonio is resurrecting its annual Howl-O-Scream & Spooktacular event through Oct. 29. The park has six scare zones and five haunted houses. The newest addition for 2017 is a haunted house called Dark Side of the Gardens.

Fright Fest at Six Flags Fiesta Texas

Six Flags Fiesta Texas is all about fright by night with free haunted houses and scare zones throughout the park until Oct. 31. The newest nightmares are Blood Bayou and Carnevil 3D.

Zoo Boo at San Antonio Zoo

The San Antonio Zoo is celebrating Halloween with kid-friendly fun on the weekends through Oct. 29. From 9 a.m.-6 p.m. the zoo will have trick-or-treat stations, pumpkin painting and more available. 

BOOtanica at the San Antonio Botanical Gardens

The San Antonio Botanical Garden is in the Halloween spirit with a "BOOtanica" day on Oct. 28, costumes are encouraged as you trek the Scarecrow Trail.

More Delight Than Frightful at Morgan’s Wonderland

The "More Delight than Frightful" event at Morgan’s Wonderland is for children 12 and younger and special-needs individuals of any age. This event will take place on Halloween and is a place for kids to go for a safe night of trick-or-treating without any of the scary stuff.

Treats and Targets at Topgolf

Topgolf is encouraging costumes for kids on Oct. 28. From open until 5 p.m. families will receive half off one hour of game play when their child wears a costume. The first 50 children in costume will also receive a Halloween goodie bag.

Alamo City Comic Con: Halloween Edition

The ACCC Halloween Edition will be Oct. 27-29 and feature a Miss GOREgeous Halloween Queen Pageant, Conival, tattoo expo, meet and greets with celebrities, and more.

Bud Light Haunted River at the River Walk

The River Walk will be infested with eerie sounds, spooky ghosts and zombies on Oct. 27 from 6-10 p.m. Attendees can enjoy music, dancing, a haunted river parade and an adult costume contest.

Haunted Houses

The 13th Floor Haunted House is San Antonio’s longest-running haunted house. The cost starts at $25 for general admission. 

Terror Mansion is a 1940s paranormal experience with 23 intense rooms of horror. Cost starts at $20. 

Ripley’s Haunted Adventure is the only year-round haunted house. This multimillion-dollar haunted house starts at $22 for general admission.

The Psycho Asylum and Slaughter House are a double feature scare. General admission tickets can be found for as low as $28 at H-E-B. 

Slaughter Mayhem Haunted House is new this year with two attractions in one location. Tickets start at $24 for kids and $29 for adults.

Mazes

The South Texas Maze in Hondo is a popular attraction for families. Graff 7A Ranch features a 7-acre maze, pumpkin patch, jumping pillows, "Matter-Corn Mountain" slide, hayrides and much more. 

The Circle N Maze in La Vernia includes a 5.5-acre maze, a pumpkin patch, farm animals, petting zoo, games, food trucks and more.
