Police: Krystal Porter Asked Man To Use Phone, Then Robbed Him

SAN ANTONIO – A man's attempt to help a woman in distress left him in need of help.

Police said the woman, 22-year-old Krystal Porter, pulled out a gun and robbed the man and two of his friends.

The arrest warrant affidavit said Porter knocked on the door of a Southeast side home last month and asked a man inside if she could use his phone.

But after he let her in, the affidavit said Porter pulled out a gun. A couple of minutes later, the affidavit said, two men who also had guns barged in and together they demanded drugs and money.

During the robbery, police said Porter and the others tied up three people in the house with duct tape. The victims told police the robbers ransacked the house, taking money, jewelry and electronics.

Police said one of the victims was able to copy the suspects' license plate, and police traced the car to Porter.

Porter has been charged with three counts of aggravated robbery.
