SAN ANTONIO – A figure known for being a part of the drug cartel world is growing in popularity in the United States and even in San Antonio.
Ana Marchand Maya, a local spiritual advisor, is trying to get others to embrace and see past the negative reputation of the Santa Muerte.
"Santa Muerte is a very powerful saint. God sends her to come and help us," said Maya.
The Death Saint is usually represented in different colors , with a scythe and holding a globe.
