Abel Sandoval-Hernandez, 51, accused of aggravated sexual assault of a child

SAN ANTONIO – For nearly two months, San Antonio police have looked for a 51-year-old man who is accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting a young girl. Now, the U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force has joined in the search.

Abel Francisco Sandoval-Hernandez is wanted on a charge of aggravated sexual assault of a child.

"In May 2015, Sandoval allegedly had sexual contact with a female child on multiple occasions. The victim was under the age of 10 years old when the first assault took place," said Deputy Chris Bozeman.

In July, police had a warrant, but Sandoval could not be found.

He is 5'5" tall and weighs 150 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

"His last known place of residence was on the east side of San Antonio," said Bozeman.
