Man convicted of sex assault skips out on prison sentence

Christopher LeMaster, 23, wanted for failure to report for sentencing

SAN ANTONIO – A man convicted of a sexual assault was given time to settle his affairs before serving his sentence, but never turned himself in at a state prison.

Christopher Alan LeMaster, 23, was convicted in May 2014.

"(He was) sentenced to 5 years in prison for sexually assaulting a woman without her consent while she was unconscious and unable to resist," said Deputy US Marshal Chris Bozeman.

LeMaster did not have to start serving his sentence right away.

"While on bond, LeMaster was allowed to self surrender to a TDCJ facility, but went into hiding to avoid serving his sentence," said Bozeman.

LeMaster is 5'7" tall and weighs 145 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

"His last known place of residence was on the west side of San Antonio," said Bozeman.

If you have any information on LeMaster's whereabouts, call the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force at 210-657-8500.
