Woman with Alzheimer's reported missing in San Antonio

Family worried Maria Jesus Llamas might have stayed out all night

SAN ANTONIO – A woman with Alzheimer’s disease and high blood pressure is missing and is also without her medication, police said Monday.

Maria Jesus Llamas, 69, was last seen Sunday at the Poteet Flea Market, in the 12200 block of State Highway 16 South, according to a news release from the San Antonio Police Department.

Llamas is 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 120 pounds, officers said. She has brown eyes and gray hair, and may be wearing a black and white blouse, a black wool coat, black pants, black shoes, a silver necklace and a cross-body bag.

Llamas has straight, ear top-length hair, pierced ears and glasses. She also wears upper and lower dentures, police said.

Her family is worried Llamas stayed out all night in the cold temperatures. Her relatives searched all night and into Monday morning.
