No motive in unsolved 1979 killing of SA woman Donna Baker, 21, found dead in vacant lot No description found
SAN ANTONIO – The 1979 murder of a San Antonio woman continues to stump police.
The body of Donna Denise Baker, 21, was found on May 18, 1979, by a pedestrian who was passing a vacant lot near Morocco Street and Heritage Boulevard.
Police said she had been shot in the back.
"Donna's car was located a short distance away, and her keys and purse were still in the car," police said.
Baker worked at a computer firm.
SAPD's Cold Case Squad are still hoping to find witnesses and the suspect.
