MIAMI – A Miami doctor claims an Amazon delivery person threw his packages into his front yard without waiting for him to answer the doorbell.
Surveillance video from the Southwest Miami-Dade home shows a delivery person heaving two packages over a security fence after she briefly pauses to ring the homeowner inside.
The alleged package toss occurred Sunday afternoon.
The doctor, who wanted to remain anonymous, says he immediately contacted Amazon to report the incident. He claims Amazon agreed the delivery was bad, but they refused his request to disallow the delivery service from being used for his packages again.
The doctor says the packages contained bike helmets, but worries what happens when he orders more fragile items.
