Tips sought in 2016 shooting death of man, 19

SAN ANTONIO – Crime Stoppers is seeking tips into the 2016 shooting death of a 19-year-old man.

Police found the body of Michael Moriarty on Dec. 12, 2016, at 651 Devine Road near a trail at Olmos Basin Park.

Moriarty was shot several times, police said.

A childhood friend of the victim was arrested but he was "no-billed" by a grand jury.

Police believe someone named "Mike" or Mikey" was involved in the shooting or may have information about the case.  

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest and grand jury indictment.

Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 210-224-STOP (7867).
