Officials: Missing teen poses credible threat to his own health, safety

SAN ANTONIOUPDATE: An Endangered Missing Alert for an 18-year-old from Medina County has been discontinued.

The Texas Department of Public Safety canceled the alert late Tuesday, saying Lamarquis Myles, diagnosed with a cognitive impairment, had been found.

The Medina County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a missing 18-year-old who they say poses a credible threat to his own health and safety.

Officials said Lamarquis Myles is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs about 139 pounds.

He has black hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a black jacket, white shirt, blue jeans, and black and white Nikes. He has braces on his upper teeth and dreadlocks that reach the middle of his back.

The sheriff’s office said he was last seen around 10 p.m. on April 2 in the 100 block of Hunters Spring in San Antonio and was seen on foot.

Officials said Myles is diagnosed with cognitive impairment.
