SAN ANTONIO – The death of a 19-year-old Trinity University cheerleader is under investigation.
On Sunday, Cayley Mandadi was traveling from San Antonio to Houston when someone in the vehicle noticed she wasn't breathing. She was taken to a hospital in Luling and then transferred to a hospital in Kyle, where she died Tuesday.

Luling and Caldwell County law enforcement asked the Texas Rangers to take over the investigation.
Autopsy results are expected to take several months.
Students and faculty were notified of Mandadi's death Wednesday through an email by the school president.
