SAN ANTONIO – An art teacher used his pizza delivery skills from 30 years ago to stay connected with his students.
On first glance it looks like Bernal MS art teacher John Davis is out delivering pizzas. But, the pizza boxes are full of art supplies for his students.
When he realized that many of his students didn’t have supplies while they are learning at home, Davis came up with a delivery plan. He gathered supplies from school and contacted pizza companies for box donations.
Though it’s been several decades since he worked as a pizza deliveryman himself, Davis has found a new way to serve his students.
