SAN ANTONIO – A street near a major North Side intersection will close for three months as part of an improvement project.
Orsinger Lane between Vance Jackson Road and Sleepy Hollow Street will close in both directions starting at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, according to the City of San Antonio’s Public Works Department.
Orsinger Lane is just southwest of the intersection of Vance Jackson and Huebner roads.
The street is slated to be closed for about three months, weather permitting.
During this time, crews will install a new sewer system, excavate the drainage channel to improve water flow, and reconstruct the roadway.
“This construction is part of the voter-approved, 2017 Bond Vance Jackson Low Water Crossing improvements project with a budget of $6.3 Million,” the department said in an email.
