SAN MARCOS, Texas – The San Marcos Police Department has arrested a man in connection with a homicide case , according to authorities.
San Marcos police shared an update on Facebook that Juan Manuel Yanez, 47, was taken into custody on Friday night in Harris County.
Yanez was on the run for a deadly incident that happened around 4 p.m. Friday in the 800 block of River Road.
Police said Yanez had an unspecified relationship with the victim of the case.
As a result of the investigation, the San Marcos Consolidated School District bus routes experienced significant delays.
San Marcos police provided no other information on the homicide case other than the vehicle that Yanez was believed to have driven.
