Man shot in face on Southwest Side, SAPD says Police say a handgun was found near the scene

SAN ANTONIO – A man was injured in a shooting on the Southwest Side, according to San Antonio police.
Just before 1 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to the shooting in the 600 block of Kirk Place.
When they arrived, officers found a man unconscious on the front porch with multiple gunshot wounds to the face, police said.
A person inside the residence told police they heard an argument outside and found the man unresponsive.
The man, who is in his 20s, was taken to a hospital. His condition is unknown.
Police said a handgun was found near the scene.
