Man hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after shooting on East Side, SAPD says Shooting happened around 9:15 p.m. Friday
SAN ANTONIO – A man was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after a shooting on the East Side, according to San Antonio police.
Officers responded to the shooting around 9:15 p.m. Friday near the intersection of North New Braunfels Avenue and Nolan Street.
According to an SAPD preliminary report, an unknown caller was “flagged down” by the man and asked them to contact the police.
When officers arrived, the report states the man was unresponsive and unable to provide any information about the shooter.
The 49-year-old man was shot in his abdomen and rushed to a hospital, police said. No arrests have been made.
