Spiked Mexican Hot Chocolate

Ingredients:

  • 1 quart milk
  • 1/2 package of Mexican hot chocolate; Chocolate Popular is recommended
  • 2 oz  spirit of your choice: RumChata, Kahlua, Chocolate Liquor
  • Cinnamon
  • Whipped Cream

Directions:

 

First, make your Mexican hot chocolate by heating the milk and chocolate over the stove. Once that's completely combined, pour into mugs and add in 2 oz of the spirit of your choice. Top with whipped cream, cinnamon and serve.

 

Holiday Champagne Margarita

 

  • 2/3 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/3 cup pomegranate juice
  • 1 cup cointreau
  • 1 cup silver tequila
  • 1 bottle chilled sparkling wine
  • Sugar for rimming the glass
  • Lime wedge

Directions:

 

Mix the lime juice, pomegranate juice, cointreau, silver tequila, and sugar in a pitcher and refrigerate for approximately 1 hour.  To serve, rim each glass with a small amount of sugar. Pour one third of the margarita mix in a champagne flute and top 2/3 with the sparkling wine.
