Spurs sign Marco Belinelli

SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Spurs have signed free-agent guard Marco Belinelli on a two-year, $6 million contract, Yahoo! Sports reports.

Belinelli, 27, most recently played for the Chicago Bulls, where he averaged 9.6 points in 73 games last season.

The Spurs will be his fifth team.

Previously, Yahoo! Sports reports, he averaged a 38.7 percent 3-point career over the course of six season in the NBA.

Belinelli's signing comes days after the Spurs reached agreements with two of their own free agents: Manu Ginobili (two years, $14 million) and Tiago Splitter (four years, $36 million).
