Cornelius Johnson was the first Black athlete snubbed by Adolf Hitler at the 1936 Berlin Olympic Games. He took home a gold medal and an oak sapling, which he planted at his Los Angeles home. Now, that tree is a reminder of his legacy. John Blackstone reports.

Cornelius Johnson' 29-yard touchdown catch midway through the third quarter gave No. 4 Michigan the lead and the jolt it needed to pull away for a 31-10 victory at Indiana.

Blake Corum and Hassan Haskins combined for 229 yards rushing and four touchdowns, carrying No. 6 Michigan to a 33-7 win over Northwestern.

Cornelius Johnson caught both of Cade McNamara’s touchdown passes and No. 14 Michigan remained unbeaten with a 38-17 victory over Wisconsin, which lost starting quarterback Graham Mertz to a chest injury.

Blake Corum rushed for 123 yards and three touchdowns as No. 25 Michigan routed Northern Illinois 63-10 on Saturday.
