Allen jumper sends No. 20 Texas over No. 8 Kansas 79-76

Timmy Allen scored 24 points and his long jumper from just beyond the free throw line with 21 seconds left put Texas ahead before Marcus Carr’s free throws sealed a 79-76 win over No. 8 Kansas on Monday night.

No. 14 Texas Tech wins 77-64 over Beard and No. 23 Texas

Kevin Obanor had 17 points with five 3-pointers and 14th-ranked Texas Tech beat No. 23 Texas 77-64 in Chris Beard’s return.

No. 13 Texas beats No. 12 Oklahoma St for first Big 12 title

– Texas finally won the Big 12 Tournament championship. 12 Oklahoma State. They also won at Iowa State and 15th-ranked Oklahoma to reach 9-2 away from home and 6-2 in true road games. “It’s hard to win three road games in one week,” Coleman said. The Horned Frogs will have to win twice in the Big 12 tournament for him to avoid his first.

Cunningham helps Oklahoma St beat Texas in double OT
