Daniel Jones threw two touchdowns, Saquon Barkley ran for 152 yards and a TD and the surprising New York Giants returned from their bye week and beat the Houston Texans 24-16.

Tom Brady tosses 2 TDs, Buccaneers beat Giants 30-10

Tom Brady threw for 307 yards and two touchdowns and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat the New York Giants 30-10.

Prescott, Cowboys beat Giants 44-20 year after ankle injury

Dak Prescott threw three touchdown passes the day before the one-year anniversary of his severe ankle injury in the same stadium against the same opponent, and the Dallas Cowboys beat the New York Giants 44-20.

Falcons give Smith first win, beat Giants on Eli's day

Younghoe Koo kicked a 40-yard field goal on the final play and the Atlanta Falcons beat the New York Giants 17-14 to give coach Arthur Smith his first NFL win Sunday.

Hopkins converts 2nd chance, Washington beats Giants 30-29

Dustin Hopkins made a 43-yard field goal on an untimed down, and Washington defeated the New York Giants 30-29.

Seattle stunner: Giants stymie Wilson, Seahawks in 17-12 win

New York Giants defensive end Leonard Williams (99) celebrates with linebacker Tae Crowder (48) after Williams sacked Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson (not shown) during the second half of an NFL football game, Sunday, Dec. 6, 2020, in Seattle. A fourth-and-18 desperation throw by Wilson was batted down, and the Giants were left to celebrate. “I’m really surprised that this is how we looked against this game plan that they had,” Seattle coach Pete Carroll said. SEATTLE’S WEIRD SCORESNot surprisingly, Seattle was involved in a game that had a strange score at some point. The 5-0 halftime score was the first in an NFL game since Week 2 of the 2013 season when the Seahawks led the 49ers 5-0 at the half.

Healthy WR Golden Tate won't play for Giants at Washington

WASHINGTON – New York Giants wide receiver Golden Tate won’t play Sunday at Washington in the aftermath of seemingly calling out quarterback Daniel Jones and the coaching staff. Tate did not travel Saturday with the Giants for the game. “He’s made a lot of plays over these last couple of years, and I certainly have a lot of trust in him as a player,” Jones said. Tate has been targeted 29 times this season, making 22 catches for 226 yards and two touchdowns in seven games. Washington on Saturday activated receiver Steven Sims off injured reserve, a big boost to its passing game.

Despite 1 win each, Eagles, Giants have first place in sight

(AP Photo/Derik Hamilton)PHILADELPHIA – It’s Week 7, the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants each have one win and both teams are right in the mix for first place. The victory total will increase after the Eagles (1-4-1) and Giants (1-5) meet Thursday night, unless they tie. The Giants are coming off their first win under coach Joe Judge. But Elliott has hit all of his field goals under 50 yards this season and 89.9% in his career.

Giants and Judge finally win, beat Washington on fumble TD

Giants and Judge finally win, beat Washington on fumble TD

In fact, the 38-year-old Judge barely had time to celebrate as the Giants rode a wild final four minutes, a decisive play by Mr. Irrelevant — scooped up a fumble and ran 43 yards for a touchdown to give New York a 20-13. Washington coach Ron Rivera rolled the dice and went for the win with a 2—point conversion. The only way to learn to win is to play to win. That’s what I want those guys to understand.”The stop allowed the Giants to avoid a second 0-6 start since 2013.

Defense, Snell, Big Ben carry Pittsburgh over Giants 26-16

Defense, Snell, Big Ben carry Pittsburgh over Giants 26-16

Roethlisberger, who missed the final 14 games last season after elbow surgery, threw for three scores in a 26-16 win over the New York Giants at an empty and eerie MetLife Stadium on Monday night. The defense, while not quite on the level of the famed Steel Curtain, was plenty stingy and physical. It not only held Saquon Barkley to 6 yards on 15 carries, it also swarmed him in the backfield nearly all night. Even though the Pittsburgh defense broke down as the Giants marched 87 yards on 19 plays in just under nine minutes in the third quarter, it still came up with a major stop. Roethlisberger then took Pittsburgh 62 yards for the field goal and a 19-10 lead.
